My Carnival Match Refund Policy and Terms of Service for transportation services are as follows:

trip guidelines

Transport will be provided to and from the events for various groups of travelers. Routes may have 3 to 4 pick-ups and drop-offs per route. 

Approximately 15 minutes after the event’s scheduled start time, the driver will begin picking up travelers on its route. 

Please Note that your pick up time will be determined by multiple factors including the departure location of the driver, the location of other groups, and the route to the event

The estimated time of arrival will be communicated to you 2 days before the event. Also, we reserve the right to change your pick up time 8 hours before the event begins.

Once the Maxi arrives at your location you will receive a text or phone call to alert you that the diver is outside. There will be a 15-minute grace period to allow you to board the vehicle. After 15 minutes, you will be considered a no-show, and the driver will depart without you.

As of 12/9/2023, There will be no 15-minute grace period for pick-ups. You’ll have the ability to track the Maxi in real-time as it approaches your pick-up location. These changes are aimed at improving the overall experience for everyone using our service. All travelers must be ready to board the Maxi within 5 minutes of its arrival. Any traveler that fails to be on board the Maxi within 5 minutes will be considered a no-show.

For those who do not communicate that they do not wish to attend or opt-out of an event they booked transportation for and the Maxi still shows up at their hotel or Airbnb and is a no-show, please be aware that a no-show fee of USD 20 will be charged to your credit card.

There will be no refunds for no-shows. 

By booking transportation with My Carnival Match, you agree to the following terms:

My Carnival Match LLC or its partners are not responsible and will not be held liable for any delays caused by travelers boarding the Maxi late. This includes traffic on routes to the destination and/or leaving events from parking lots or waiting areas, but is not limited to:

Road construction and traffic jams Events that result in delays over 30 minutes (e.g., police checkpoints, lost travel buddies, etc.) 

group shared trips terms

I understand that I am booking shared group trips, transportation will be provided from February 4th to February 17th, 2024, to and from events with various groups of travelers, and some routes may have multiple pick-ups and drop-off locations. Transportation will be leaving promptly at the scheduled time in order to fully enjoy all events. A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After 15 minutes, you will be considered a no-show, and the driver will depart without you. There will be no refunds for any no-shows.

I understand that all groups will be boarded at approximately 9 on Tuesday, February 14th, 2024. The Maxi Taxi will leave Port of Spain and begins its return route to various locations no later than 10 pm to start dropping off passengers back to their hotel or Airbnb. If your flight departure time is between 12 am and 3 am on Ash Wednesday, you will need to notify us in advance so we can ensure that you are able to make it to your flight on time.

private trips terms

IMPORTANT NOTES: Private transportation will be on the day and time of your choosing and includes up to two round trips per day. All group members must stay at the same location or within a 2-mile radius. After booking, you must submit your itinerary.

Airport Transfer Terms

I understand that if I book private transportation for my group, it can only seat 6 people. This is in order to safely transport your entire group and their luggage. If I do require additional seating space for a larger group of 7 or more I must notify My Carnival Match in advance.

I also understand that multiple trips pre-day or days of airport pick-up and drop-off are not included in my transportation package, and agree that all persons in my group will be arriving and departing at the same time. And if more than one trip is required, an additional fee will be added or charged to my payment method on file. And further, agree to be packed and ready to board the Maxi at least 3 hours in advance to catch my departure flight.

Pricing

The price of transportation depends on the number of days transportation is needed and whether the service is shared or private, and if a surcharge fee is applied on a selected day due to high demand. The cost of transportation is usually lower if you book your service in advance, which allows for better planning. Click Here To Get The Price

Payment Timeline

All transportation balances must be paid in FULL by January 19th, 2024. If you are unable to pay any of your payments on time, please contact us for more information about paying off your installment payments.

If you do not pay off your balance by January 19th, 2024, your deposit will be lost and your transportation reservation will be canceled.

You will be subjected to a no-show penalty, and there are no refunds for no-shows

You are covered by My Carnival Match's No-Show Protection.

My Carnival Match No-Show Protection covers both travelers and drivers.

Charging the full cost upfront ensures that travelers are committed to the days they booked and that drivers are paid for their work.

This protects everyone from last-minute cancellations and no-shows, ensuring a great experience for both the driver and the traveler.

In the unlikely event that the driver does not show up, travelers will receive a full refund for that day.

cancellation and refund policy

You have 48 hours from the time of booking to cancel and get a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee. If you cancel after 48 hours but before November 29th of any year we offer the service, you can still get a partial refund, but we’ll deduct a 10% service fee. Cancellations after November 29th are only allowed for serious reasons like natural disasters or emergencies, and you’ll need to provide proof. In these cases, you might get back 50% of what you paid. We can cancel your booking at any time. If you need to cancel or have questions about our policy, email us at customerrelations@mycarnivalmatch.com.

 We reserve the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice and or cancel your reservation without prior notice. In the event that we cancel your booking, your payment will be refunded in full.
